Base Training
According to EASA standards, each pilot’s Type Rating training should be followed by the Base Training – a standard flight training in the actual aircraft.
Depending on the amount of the hours the pilot has already built, Base Training consists of 6 or 4 take-offs and landings, of which at least one is a full stop landing under the supervision of the Type Rating Instructor and Safety Pilot.
The overall purpose of Base Training is the aqusition and honing of basic Type Rating skills.
